I can see where a professional blog would be very good for dealing with a specific topic. In this instance I have included a picture of a book that is used by elementary grade staff to teach students survival skills - via the ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Escape) model.
Teachers have many questions, from all across the school districts that are using ALICE in our area. I can see teacher posing questions, such as, "What words do you use with young children as you prepare them for an active shooter drill?" or "What unique ways have you found for barricading your classroom door in a manner that you can escape quickly if need be?"
A blog of this sort could provide for some essentially "real" time upd
ates on issues.
